Samsung Xpress SL-M2825DW Reviews– The Samsung Xpress SL-M2825DW is a simple, single-function printer, so not much inside the box. The printer comes with a cartridge and a visualization unit preinstalled, so all you have to do is remove the ubiquitous blue delivery tapes, plug in the AC power cord, and you’re ready to go.

Printer makers tend to jam a lot of features into their machines, but for many consumers, sometimes all you want is just a printer that is fast and produces beautiful documents. The color is good, but it is sacrificial if it means a fast quality laser that is cheap to buy and maintain.

If you match the customer profile we have just described, then the Samsung Xpress M2825DW ($160) is your machine. It is a monochrome laser printer, focused on small business in the market or for use as a working group printer, but it is very suitable for use as a second printer in the household, which makes a lot of monochrome printing, Along with the colored jet for those times when the color output r on the equal red.

Features and design
There is nothing particularly remarkable in the design of M2825DW‘s. It is a compact, attractive grey-black box measuring 14.5 x 13.2 x 8 inches and weighing in just over 16 lbs, so it’s not going to hog up the place on your desk. The controls are small and they are all located on the right side of the top panel. In addition to the power button that illuminates the green light when the printer is powered, there is an Eco button that puts the M2825DW in the Toner saver mode. There is also a button for WPS (Secure Wi-Fi installation), which allows the printer to be connected via Wi-Fi with just a click of a button (if your router supports WPS). If not, the printer can be connected via USB, Fast Ethernet or Standard Wi-Fi installation.

The printer’s paper output is on the top panel, and there is a support panel to stop the paper from being ejected on your desk or on the floor. Unfortunately, the 150-sheet capacity is smaller than the 250-sheet paper cassette-No breaker deal (more on this below).

As a monochrome printer, there is only one toner cartridge. M2825DW also requires a block of imagination that contains a photodiode drum. Toner cartridge is available in standard and high-yield capacities. The standard cartridge is estimated at 1 200 pages, and costs around $33. The high-yield cartridge is designed to print 3 000 pages, and at a price of $55. In 9 000 pages or so, you will have to replace the image units. This adds another $53 in the mix. None of these shipments is particularly costly – printing 9 000 pages using high-yield cartridges will cost a little more than two cents per page, and 9 000 pages are just a little under two full-case paper. If you are not a printing daemon, pumping out that many pages is going to take some time.

Performance and usage
Setting up the printer is as simple as appearing in the installation of the drive and selecting the desired connection type. Included poster/manual also handy details quick setup. Drivers for various editions of Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux are included, and you can select the Eco toner mode to save either by pressing a button on the printer or by printing the driver.

It prints nice-looking monochrome prints and offers two-sided printing, fast speed and low cost of purchase and maintenance.

As for paper handling, M2825DW offers a 250-sheet cassette at the bottom of the unit, with one sheet feeder directly above it for heavy or specialized documents up to 58-pound stock. As we mentioned, the output at the top of the printer, but the 150-sheet capacity-that is 100 sheets less than the input cassette can occupy-can leave the documents interrupt the printer during long-running printing. This minor Con is not a big deal, but it is something you should know. M2825DW has an automatic duplex, so you can print on both sides of the paper-a nice feature to have.

The performance of the printer did not provide any surprises. With a resolution of 4800 x 600 DPI text and graphic output were clear and clean even with smaller font sizes. The photos we use for image quality, of course, were not printed in photographic quality, but showed a very good definition in the shadow areas, which is not always true for monochrome laser printers.
